*Poorly done French Canadian accent*
So, what about those weathers, eh?

Hey hey everyone! Look! I'm making good on my word! More blogs, more blogs, and more blogs!

Well, there's obviously quite a bit to cover tonight, and I'm probably not going to finish tonight. Really, I'm writing this while I let my night-time cold and sinus medication to kick in and make me all drowsy like.

Yum.

So, what's going on with me lately?

Well, in between classes and (sometimes) homework, I've been hacking through Twilight Princess for the Wii. Some times it haunts me in my dreams.

Sort of like this.

but not really.

Additionally, I picked up Guitar Hero 3 a while ago, which is a great distraction from other tasks.

Look! It's my Wii-TAR!

AND my Wii (in a box):
(Step one: you put your wii in a box)... and so on.

I've been playing a lot of video games lately, which I guess is pretty obvious. I'm really digging the Wii. Unfortunately, I've actually started to develop a bit of a backlog of games to work through (although, I suppose "work" isn't the correct term, because I like playing through games, even if they are difficult). I'm sure some of you aren't really too enthused about my list, but I'm writing about it anyway. Well, obviously (using Sean as my base of how long this game is going to take), I still have to finish Zelda. Apparently, I've got about another 40 hours to play to get to the end of the storyline, not including getting pretty much all of the items/side -quests. Eek. So, on TOP of that I still want to get 100% on the hard difficulty in Guitar Hero 3, and I'm still 2 cups short in Mario Strikers. Super Paper Mario is still sitting unplayed (I'm sorry Dan, if you want it back, that's cool). Speaking of MARIO, Galaxy is coming out on Tuesday. For those of you NOT in the know, Super Mario Galaxy is the newest Super Mario game. It's supposed to be a new spin on the Mario universe (literally). I don't know how the gameplay is going to be, but from what I've read, it's going to be great. Woo.

So, we'll see how I do getting through that, especially since exams are on the way!

Ha ha!

So, other than that, what's new with me?

Well, I'm getting sick again, which isn't all that fun. I'm glad that I've got some medicine, and I'm hoping that it's going to help me feel a bit better/help me sleep.

Work is work I suppose. That's really all I've got on that subject. I'm glad that Danielle and Omar are working with me. It's good to have great people to hang out with while I'm at work on breaks/slacking off.

I've been listening to a lot of this

lately, especially while I'm cleaning up/hanging around.

I love that album. It's just so much fun to listen to.

Also, with all of the recent influx of video games in the house, Nintendo has started to send me some free stuff. First, I got some Wii-mote protectors from Nintendo (free) for registering my system. They're not the best looking, but they're good at protecting the controllers from impacts/damage. This is good news, because I can now be angry and throw my controller at things (but I really wouldn't do that). Also, I got some free styli for my DS.

HERE LOOK!

Ooooooooh. Free stuff.

I think it's about time for me to hit the sack though, so more to come.

****PASS OUT TIME****

Wow. Those really knocked me out.
I'm feeling slightly better, but I'm a bit stuffed up. Let's hope this clears soon.

Continuing on, now... How are things around here? Well, everything is going GREAT! except maybe for the mess that seems to keep randomly making itself spread. Oh well, once Danielle gets up this morning, we'll be hacking through that today. DIBS ON NOT CLEANING THE KITCHEN! You read it first here.

Lord am I ridiculous today.

Before I go any further, I would like to offer up a few words to my now dead digital camera.

Well, it's not really dead, but the flash is fucked. It seems like it's going to cost me more to get it fixed than to buy a better, more functional camera. My camera has been helping this blog be slightly more interesting (marginally, I would assume. Ah-baah ha ha-ha) for the last several years. I'm actually kind of torn up about it. I'd really like to get it fixed, but I just can't rationalize the cost of getting it fixed. Perhaps, maybe, one day I'll drudge up the $$ and get the work done. But for now, I've got a camera on loan from Danielle's mom (hence all of the photos). Either way, it's still kind of sad to let the camera die.

All of my internets are now being provided by this:

The my old router was being a cock and randomly assigning me random IP addresses, which kept fucking with all of my forwarded ports. This was no longer acceptable, because the Wii started getting angry and not downloading anything when I wanted it to. Not an issue now. EXCELLENT! *Taps fingers together maniacally*

So, now to some photos. I'm glad you've made it this far!

On Thursday, my friends and all-around great people/musicians Omar, Chuck, Steve, and Pam (I GUESS you could call them The Apex Beat, but I'll keep my label up for them) took stage at the attic to play their first Halifax show with Pam rockin' the mic, but not slapping high-fives (unless a mention of "Oslo in the Summertime" were to be made). I heard some great new tracks, and some awesome sounding versions of tracks I was familiar with. It was good to see some people that I've not seen in a while show up too. Oh, by the way, I WAS SHIT-GOGGLED. It wasn't even funny, but it was WELL worth (save for the massive brain-splitting, body-wrenching hangover I had). I took some photos, so UP THEY GO!

Sean, Darrick, and Dan Rodgers came over for a little pre-show hangouts.

We took a short walk in the freezing cold.

And then, it was into The Attic for drinks and hangouts before the music began.

Then the music started! (Some of the photos are blurry, but I'm still getting used to the camera)

So that was that. After the show, we (Danielle, Dan, and myself) headed home (with a longer than expected stop at McD's). I pretty much passed out right away, and that was the start of my hangover of doom. I woke up on Friday a few times, but I was feeling pretty shitty. So I decided to sleep until about 4:00 or so. After that, it was a task to really do just about everything. I have to say that if it wasn't for Danielle, it would have been the absolute worst (it was still pretty bad). She did all kinds of stuff for me to help me feel better, AND she made dinner. Woo! Then, after I was able to walk, Danielle and I headed out to go see the Dejeerling Limited. It was a really great movie. I just enjoy a good comedy with a plot that unfolds itself well and keeps me entertained.

So, we were supposed to head out to Sean's last night, but the weather really fucked us over for that trip. Danielle and I managed to make it out to Bedford for dinner with my mom and sister. We ended up heading towards home around 9:00 after we tried out the roads a bit. We got home and hung around while I took some photos.

Look, here they are!

I bought us some travel mugs yesterday (only after loosing Danielle's at school). They're pretty cool.

I look like a dingus.

I'm still trying to figure out the workings of this camera.

This one is funny because it looks like John Travolta and Sam Jackson are taking aim at Danielle. This was not a set up.

Well, I think that's about it. I think for today, I've got some homework to take care of, and then IT'S WING TIME BITCHES! After that, I'll be hitting up the Garrison Brewery for some more homework. Yes, that's right. Beer for homework. I'll get some photos to throw up on here for next time. I'll EVENTUALLY be posting all of the shots for today's entry (or most of them) up onto facebook, so if you can hold off on making the transfer, that'd be pretty cool. A long entry, but it could have been much worse I suppose.

That's all.
GFY,
Tony I
