Holy shit.

Well, I guess it's been a hell of a week. I guess I can start on Wednesday of last week... Danielle came home from her trip to Toronto, and I must say that I was very happy to see her. We waited at the airport until about 11 PM for her plane, and then she finally made it out of the gate. I was excited. After that, we went back to Danielle's place and I stayed the night. It was exciting. I can definitely say that I missed her a lot.

Anyway, the next day Danielle drove me to work and after work I just went home and chilled until Danielle came over to hang out. This week kind of sucked for that. It was basically me working during the day, and Danielle worked at night; so there was barely any time for us to spend alone. It kinda wore on me. A lot. Anyway, I went to work on Friday and went and got my xbox. Woot. I thought I lost my cell phone at one point, but thanks to Danielle I calmed down and eventually found it. I lost it in the bedford place mall parking lot. Anyway, I went to see Danielle in at her work (I think I NEEDED to see her at this point. At some point during the day I had the revelation that I wasn't going to get to see her at all (basically) until after she got back from Germany, which kind of broke my spirit a bit...), and I was glad I did. Anyway, I found my cell and went home and organized my basement so that I could watch TV and play video games. Nice. It took me ALL FUCKING NIGHT. And I got a new bed, which is really comfortable. Danielle came over for a few precious hours that night and hung around with myself, my mom, my sister, and my aunt. It was a good time. We had a quite a few laughs.

Then came Saturday. I kind of had a shitty morning, but that was eventually cleared up. Anyway, Danielle came over for about 45 min before she left to work for the afternoon and evening. I was glad to see her. After she left, I cleaned my room up a bunch and played a little xbox. I got a call from Chris about a keg party, so I headed out to the mall to visit Danielle and then I grabbed the bus into Halifax. When I got to Chris's place, Andrew, Mike D and Chris had already started drinking from the keg. Eventually Kristian showed up and Alania surfaced, followed by Claire. We drank beers, did some keg stands, and threw footballs around. It was a pretty good start to things. After a bit of a political discussion, Dave Langelle, and Neil came by. Soon after dark, Sean, Josh, and Chuck showed up. More drinking and smoking commenced. Finally, Pete dropped in and hit some keg stands too... I think I'll just start with the pictures for up to this point in the story...

After everyone had loosened up a bit... I mean drank a bunch more, Pete and Chris decided that it was time to throw the old busted up entertainment center off the deck with the aid of Chuck. Here are the photos of that...

There were some other ones of people just smashing wood, but they didn't look that great. Anyway, more drinking continued and Allison, Jenna, and Allisons friend (I forget her name) came by along with PENTZ!!!!! AAAAAUGH!!! And then RIGHT after that Danielle and Erin came by. It was awesome. And I'll put some more pictures now...

So everyone is just kind of hanging out at this point, and Chris runs off and returns with his guitar. Then he started playing some Mackoids. It was pretty awesome. But it turned hilarious when Andrew poured beer on Chris/his guitar while he was playing. Also, the police showed up and we were moved inside for about 10 min. I won't go into too much detail about this part. Ha. You know if you were there. Here are the pics...

Anyway, we moved back outside and Omar was out there! Yes! We talked for a bit and then someone decided that it was time to throw a couch off the deck! Pictures!!!!

Chuck was in the lead for the destruction of the couch once it hit the ground. As the drinking continued on and on and on, Chris and Pete decided to have a wresting match outside. At first Chris just got tossed around, but eventually found his feet and started throwing Pete around as well. I took some pictures of that too!

Chris had a bit of a gash on his back after that. But it was all in fun. It was after this point that my night really started though. After the fight, Chris wanted to move the keg, and I went over to help him. The keg slipped out of his grip and landed smack down on my ingrown toenail. Not good. At all. It was quite painful among other things. I decided since that I was so suddenly sober, it was probably time to go home. Danielle dropped me off at my house first, so I could tend to my wounds, and then took Erin home, then returned to my house for the night. I was hobbling around the house for a bit, and then Danielle and I watched some of the Dogtown documentary, which fucking ruled. We ended up going to bed about half way through though.

After we fell asleep for about 2 hours, I suddenly woke up with super sharp pains, and I was apparently shivering. So it was off to the ER. In Halifax. With a very tired and sort of mad Danielle. After 2 hours of waiting, they called me in, looked me over, laughed at my story, x-rayed me, and then decided to do some emergency surgery. That wasn't very fun. After that business, they drugged me up and sent me off. Danielle was kind enough to take me to shoppers on spring garden to get more pills and then to drop me off at home. I can't thank her enough for taking me. It definitely did me more good than bad. The only thing that sucked besides the whole surgery thing, was that the plans for Sunday changed drastically from go to the beach, supper, and to the buskers to doing pretty much nothing except watch movies and hang out places where I could put my foot up to keep it from throbbing, which is a limited number of places. So all in all, the lesson here is don't get a keg dropped on your toe. Here's what my toe looked like with the bandage on it...

So, since I pretty much went through Sunday up there, I can start on Monday now; Video games. That's pretty much it. I played lots of Forza Motor Sport, which is an awesome game. I rule at racing games. YESSSSSS! Danielle came over after work to hang out, and we did just that. We stayed up really late that night on the phone just talking about what ever came to mind, which we haven't done in ages.

On Tuesday, we went to see Bad News Bears in the afternoon, and while we were there we saw some Trailer Park Boys. They were filming on location at the theatre, which was cool. My highlight sighting was definitely the "shit-mobile". After that, Danielle dropped me home because she had to go to work. I couldn't believe they made her work the night before she went to Germany. It kinda put me into a slump because I knew I was going to get to spend very little time with her before she left. I was kinda saddened about the whole thing. I don't know why, but to me it made sense. Anyway, I went to wing night with Dan Rodgers, Tophe, and Tophe's friends, plus Danielle's cousin and her boyfriend. It was ok. I was uncomfortable with my toe and all. Then it was back to Danielle's to hang out while she packed. Wee. Oh well, I at least got to talk to her for a bit before everyone was consumed with exhaustion.

Yesterday, Danielle left for Germany. It wasn't all that fun for most of the day until I went out with Paul, and later Omar and Chuck. I'm not going to write much more other than that I can't wait till Danielle gets home. That's all I think, I don't know what's up for tonight.
