YAR! What the shit is up????!!!???
Well, well, well.... It's been quite a while since I stretched out the blogging muscle, but it's better late than never I suppose. I think that I would have done this sooner had I have brought my camera to Jeff's a few more times; but alas, I'm a little forgetful sometimes. This post has got some pics from Danielle's B-Day bash, which was well over a month ago, and some pics from the BBQ that I had less than a week ago. That's pretty cool. Sort of. Har.
I guess I could get started with a little writing. Let me see... Golden is more and more interesting every week. Last week, Jim had me on some random expedition to the WTCC to help out with a function, and things went pretty well. I don't know if I got any sales or anything, but it still was a good time. And I got paid for it. Holla.
This week's adventures have been a bit more odd. Jim is still slowly going off his rocker it seems. Hahaha. He sent me out to G.P. Vanier school on Tuesday to pick up some order forms. That's not big deal. But while I was cooking down the highway, I realized that Jim had neglected to tell me there was no gas in his car. So I searched around and found a prepaid gas card in a cup holder and headed to the nearest service station, with hopes of gas and maybe even a clean windshield. But those dreams came crashing down when I checked to see how much money was on the card. The balance was... 40 FUCKING CENTS. Yeah, not so cool. Anyway, I had to drop a 20 down for some fuel. I guess the best part was that when I got back, I gave Jim the receipt and told him what happened. His only response: laughter. And now I have to wait a bit to get the money back from the company. LAME!
Friday's was a bit more fun. I finished up my work for the morning early and then went out to do some sales work in Peggy's Cove. The drive was awesome, even though the car smelled like dog. It took up most of the afternoon. I like being paid to drive around and try and sell shit to people. It's kind of fun. And easy, if you know the people, which I did.
I guess I'll get started on Danielle's birthday party...
If you weren't there (and odds are if you are reading this you were), we all started drinking, jamming, and playing "Roxanne" in my basement for a little pre-drink party. Then After we all got a little sauced, we headed down to the DOME on the bus.
Once we got on the bus, we started being rowdy and loud. We sang happy birthday to Danielle while getting some strange looks and laughs from the other passengers. Then the camera came out and I gabbed some snapshots.
We had to stop at the bank on spring garden, and Mike decided to climb onto the ATM.
Then we got to the dome and there was lots of drinking, dancing, walking around, and more drinking...
It was a pretty good night, I have to say.
On Friday last week Sean, Omar, and myself went over to Mike D's to hang out. We watched YouTube for a while, and then headed to the mount for a little shiz. It was a good time.
On Saturday, I spent mostly all day cleaning up and going to the store to pick up supplies for the BBQ I was planning on having the next day. I went to musicstop to pick up a bass drum skin and then spent some time trying to put it on. Then it was off to the Airport to see Danielle's mom off to Scotland. After that, Danielle and I took my sister to see "Over the Hedge" because she wasn't feeling too well.
Then came Sunday, which was BBQ day. I spent the late morning cleaning up, and in the afternoon I got the burgers ready and then waited for the peeps to come over. Once Sean showed up, we headed out to the cold beer store, and once we got back it was cookin time. We ate food, drank a bit, and then headed downstairs to watch "Party all the Time", and some other internet videos. Around 9:40 or so we headed to Mike D's for some TPB, and then it was back here for some jamming. It went pretty well, and I hope everybody had a good time. Oh yeah, here are the pics.
So that was BBQ night.
Last night, Danielle and I check out x-men 3, and it was pretty good. After the movie, we met up with Sean and Omar, and there was a bit o the shim. Then we headed back to my house and chilled for a bit, then we watched Dave Chappelle's "Killin' Them Softly" stand up routine. It was pretty funny. I had only heard it before (years ago), but this was the first time that I had seen it. It was cleeeean.
Tonight I'm staying over at Danielle's which should be fun. Anyway, I guess that wraps up my post for today. Maybe I'll write something sooner than a month. But most likely not.
GFY,
Tony I
