WARNING UBER-LONG LOAD TIME APPROACHING!
Ok, so if you thought the last post was HUGE, get ready for this one, bitches...
I guess it's been a while since I updated. A long while. Almost a month. But this post is going to make up for it. I guess. I have a tonne of writing to do, and some 107 pictures to load. So sit back while your computer downloads all the pure awesome. Unfiltered awesome. Unleaded awesome. Unleashed awesome. You get the point. The unfiltered point. Ok, I assume you get it.
So, I guess I'll start with the current state of affairs in my life. Well, first off, my mom took off yesterday for Ontario for 2 weeks. YES! I hope you're all as excited as I sort of am. Ha. I've already had a bunch of fun, but I'll get to some of that later. Ha.
In other news, Tim has moved out of the house officially. He's now in NB. This is kind of a sad thing. I'm going to miss him, as much as we didn't get along sometimes, we did most of the time, and I'm going to miss that. I'm just kind of cheesed that I didn't get his bass to him in time. It's not a big deal though, I guess I've half made plans to go up there sometime soon to see him and give him some stuff. It's good I guess.
Other than that, things in the Wight residence have come down to a slow and steady pace, and things will be continually laid-back until my mom comes home. It's fun. For supper tonight, I grilled up some sirloin medallions, made a salad, and drank a huge glass of wine. It's really relaxing to just have the place to myself. With the occasional guest of course.
In more exciting news, Danielle and I celebrated our one year on Friday. I can't believe it. One year. It's been so great, and I have to thank her for that. What did we do you ask? Well, we made some lunch together at my house, then took a little nap. It was a good nap indeed. Then, after that, we hung around a little bit at my house and then headed out to supper. We went to Boomerangs Steak House in Dartmouth. The food was SO good. I got a Prime Rib roast steak, which was SOOO good. Danielle got the Teriaki steak, which was equally as good. For an appetizer, we picked out some stuffed mushrooms, which were really tasty. We then went back into Bedford to gas up, grab a late dessert, and then headed out to a movie. What did we see? The Perfect Man. It ok for a Duff movie..(?) but at some points it was funny. Duff was trying too hard to look like Scarlett Johansson. Oh well. After that it was back to Danielle's for the night. It was very awesome. It's just as good as it was a year ago, and it feels so good to look forward to more awesome times spent together. Danielle and I each got each other rings...
Saturday afternoon and early evening was spent with Chuck and Omar. Chuck and I went to get coffee, and then we bussed it to the mall to meet up with Danielle (for her break) and Omar. We sat around the mall, and then Chuck got convinced that he needed to get a wardrobe, so Omar and him took off to Winners to look at some clothes. Danielle and I met up with them there, and then a bit after Danielle left for work, Jess came by. It was funny. Then it was off to Halifax shopping center for more looking for clothes. I bought a nice shirt. Woot. After all that hooplah, we went to Seans. More later...
Ok, before I get on with the rest of this, I've decided that I'm just going to have to finish this tomorrow night, because there's WAY too much to write about right now.
****LEAVES COMPUTER FOR APPROXIMATELY 24 HOURS****
Anyway, So after all the mall action, Omar, Chuck and I picked up Danielle and Mike D and we headed into Colby to see Sean at his dad's place. When we got there, Josh and Andrew were already there, and I snapped into some beers. We all just hung out, ate BBQ, played some piano, listened to some music, and played chess all night. It was a pretty good night. Josh passed out, and we put a note on him. It was pretty funny. But he was hammed, so we didn't do anything other than that to him, cause that'd be mean. I have some pictures from Saturday right HERE...
This one is funny. The camera went off as I dropped it. You can see Danielle and I grabbing for it.
"The worried look"
So the night kind of wrapped up around 3:30-4:00. We headed home, and I got in around the same time my sister and mom were GETTING UP TO LEAVE for the airport. When I woke up, they were gone, and remain so until the 15th or 16th. I forget. Oh well. It's very exciting. I've already had a bunch of fun, and I've got some kick ass plans for the weekend. It's going to be fun I thinks. Heh.
So in the afternoon on Sunday, Danielle came over and we whipped up a little picnic. I made some sandwiches and Danielle brought some apples. We picked up some other stuff on the way to the park, and then we ate. It was fun AND tasty. Har. Photos...
Then we napped at my house, headed Danielle's for supper, and then to church. After that, we went and played football in the park for a while and then took a walk. It was fun. Then it was back to my house for the rest of the evening.
The fireworks were fun, but the idiots who don't understand how to drive or park should stay outta riverdale. Cause they suck.
Ok, for this last bit of my post, I'm going to stick some pictures up from Danielle's prom and such. It was a blast. First of all, I got to wear a pimped up black suit with a pink shirt and chrome tie. That alone got me pretty stoked. Then I went to Danielle's and saw how awesome she looked, and I was even more stoked. Then we got on a double decker bus, which got me really fired up. There were pictures and Dinner and Dancing and gambling and boxing and a hypnotist. It was a blast. I spent a lot of time hamming it up in front of the camera, so here come some pictures...
There was air boxing. I beat up/got smacked by Danielle's friend Daniel.
There was also some mad black-jack.
This was my $20,000 hand...
My friend Phil from out west was down on the following Sunday...
Ok, so the first Bedford days fireworks were cancelled, but I saw this as it was clearing up...
Danielle and my brother graduated. I went to the ceremony and read Batman comics the whole time. There was brunch and napping afterwards. YES! I took some cool pictures...
Ok... JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS OVER! A week or so ago, Mike Fox had a showing of "The Living Impaired" featuring myself. It was a fun movie to watch. I showed up a little early and volunteered to help take money and hand out tickets. It used to be my job, so it was pretty easy? Anyway, Danielle took a picture of me hard at work in the Weezer shirt she got me. (Looks awesome, eh?)
and a few days before that I got THIS...
I was excited for a couple of days about that.
The day after the movie, we went to the Lampshades for a little shindig. Sean stepped on a nail before we went so he ended up leaving early. It was a good time, there was a lot of talk about 96.5 FM. After a while, Danielle and I left for her place, and we accidentally got stuck playing on the swings...
So, you think I'm done? Well, I'm not. At all. The following Sunday, Danielle and I headed out to Eastern Passage to take a look at where I used to live, and go to school. Then we went for a walk around the boardwalk and skipped rocks. I picked this really cool flower, which bloomed 3 times while at Danielle's house over the last week. Cool? Yes. That's me. Then it was FIREWORKS TIME, BITCHES! I captured some good photographs of that action. AND some Mojo.
Those ones were good, but the Canada Day ones were RIDICULOUS! I just remember looking at the sky and seeing it filled with gold. It was pretty cool. Brody didn't seem to mind them either. I'm glad Danielle and I walked, cause the rest of Bedford was a PARKING LOT. Holy SHIT. My street was backed up for almost an hour. I guess they eventually had police directing traffic, because as we all know, the lights in Bedford suck fat ape penis. Oh well, we had fun at my house laughing at people and listening to music.
So, I guess that wraps up this MASSIVE post. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed procrastinating putting it up. Fuck yeah, I'm finally finished.
GFY,
Tony Important
