Woop Wooooop!



Another update? You're damn right. It's only been a little while since my last one, but I've love doing this, so yeah... here's your update...

Well, where do I start? How about I finally, after more than two months, started working again. That's right, I'm back at StatsCan, and I'm lovin' it. I'm working pretty much every day of the week, except for on Friday and Saturday. Holy shite. That's a lot of action. Oh well, who needs to do school work anyway... haha. No, no... It's sleep that I don't really need.

Continuing on, school is beginning to wind down for the semester, and I've got HUGE projects to do for three of my classes, which are all due at the end of the month. That's a bit of trouble. But, in exchange for all of the work that I have to do, I only have ONE EXAM!!!!! AAAAAAAH!!!!!! The exam is on the 7th of December. Did I mention that it's a WEBCT EXAM!! I get to do it in my house! Ha Haaah! I'm stoked. Does anyone ELSE have a month off?

So, I suppose you're all here for something... Perhaps... photos? MMM? Hahaha.

Last weekend, I had a little party at my house to celebrate halloween. Almost everyone showed up in costume and we had some drinks, smokes, and the like. We jammed a bit, but I think I was a little too jimmied/shimmied to play. Oh well. It was still fun. Brennan and Ally stopped by, but unfortunately the photos that I had of them were deleted from my camera somehow. Hmm. I wonder. Oh well, at least you're mentioned here Brennan. Haha. Your dreams come true.

Aaaaaaaannnnnnd that's the Halloween post. Mike D was there too, but there were no photos of him which is a shame. I was glad every one came out and had a good time. I'm going to have to do this again, because it's a shitload of fun to have people over to party down. Yes, that's right, party down.

So, I guess I'm winding down this post. It was indeed a blast.

Holy Shit!!!



So, this is like the third update that I've done in a month, which is ridiculous. I haven't updated this much in quite a long time. COOL! Anyway, this post won't be too long, but I do have a shitload of photos and videos from my little shin-digger last weekend that I'm going to throw up, so do enjoy.

First, I guess I'll update on the StatsCan situation: I got a call today, and I guess my training doesn't start until late October, which is kind of shitty. However, it is giving me all kinds of time to focus on my school work, or my blog, depending how you look at it. Ha. Speaking of which, I have some work to do still (I've be at it all day) but I'll worry about that when the time comes I guess.

So, if you're illiterate, or just didn't bother to read anything that I wrote above, or you're not in the know, I had a bit of a party last Saturday. It was a really kick ass time. We had a bunch of instruments set up, and everybody got a little hammied. Suprisingly, there was a Mackoids Reunion set, which was cut short by my neighbour around 11:30 (but that's ok with me). I have some video footage of that as well as some pictures. I guess I'll just have to put all of this up now. COOL!





Ben, Danielle, and I were representing the Faxe crew on Saturday, which went pretty well I must say. Check out these faxe faces from the start of the night...











Then, once people started to really roll in, we headed down to the basement for some more drinking and jamming. The first setup was just kind of random, but it really worked out towards the end. Haha.

































So that was that part of the night. After a while, Chuck and Alice showed up and there was some more jamming, featuring Chuck on the piano...















Then the storm that was the Mackoids 2006 reunion hit the stage.

Maybe I'll put the ones from the LAST reunion show up sometime... those are insane. Haha.

Eventually, the show was broken up, and we had to keep the noise down. Graham showed up too, and he brought some much enjoyed shim. We got a little crazy in the backyard, and then off into the woods a bit down the street....





































After all of that, we headed back to my place for a bit of a debate, and then it was off to sleep around 4am. I think it was a pretty awesome night.

When I got up, Dan Rogers was still kicking around, so he helped me straighten things up around the house a bit. After we did all of that Danielle came downstairs, soon followed by my mom. We were all a little hung over, so we decided to make a 2pm hangover cure breakfast. It was pretty funny... well at least to me. Then Dan and I haloed it up for a bit. After that, I went to dinner with Danielle and her family, and watched some TV. I think I had a blast of a weekend.

Well, I could write more, but I've pretty much covered it all...
