I wrote a HUGE post in here earlier this afternoon, but just as I was about to post it, there was a server crash or something at blogger. Basically, if you read my last post, you saw that I had a cool contract written up with Josh last night. In my earier post, I wrote about how much of an awesome time I this weekend with Danielle. Woot. Also, I mentioned something about my diet and excercise progress. Well, to put it simply, I'm on the South Beach Diet, and lemme tell ya, it works. I've already lost 17 lbs and it's only been a week. I guess it works faster when you run too. That's all.
Tony.
Ok, I had a really awesome weekend, and I'm going to post more about that tomorrow. I have some news about my progression in the excercise and diet world, but that will have to wait till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Josh and I made our commercial law contract today. It's pretty funny... Give it a read... Yes, this IS for a University Class and YES, it is worth 25% of our grade.

What is up?

I'm just chillin at my computer right now, and I'm taking in the sweet sounds of Owen. The song I'm listening to right now is called Never Meant, and it's fucking awesome. I know that it is an American Football song, and the original is pretty cool... well I mean really cool. But this version of the song is super-awesome. The way it sounds done on Acoustic, with Mike Doing everything, including all the super cool chorded back up stuff after the first verse. It sounds so awesome when you give it a close listen. Just listen for the lower sounding strings, and you'll hear what I'm sayin. It sounds so cool. Anyway, I just wanted to write about that song. It's pretty awesome.

Well, before I started this thing here, I was on the phone with Danielle. I called her to say good-night, and she was pretty sleepy on the phone. It was kinda funny. It made me smile a lot though. It's been nine months since Danielle and I have been together, and it's really really awesome. I love her so much, and it's great. Ok, sorry, I just had to gloat a bit. ;P

Today was really long, but it was good too. Really good. I got up really as usual, and headed into school. There was this guy on the bus who was pretty much taking up all the room of the only seat with his arms and legs. I decided to sit down, but he didn't move at all. It was pretty stupid. That guy was an ass.
But I didn't let it get to me. I after my only class, I headed into the computer lab to do my accounting assignment. It was pretty crappy cause it took me about 2 hours to do it. I was fucking around on the computer the whole time, and I didn't want to do the damn thing. Oh well, that was over with. When I got home, I played the drums for like 15-25 minutes. It was ROCK. I'm having so much fun just playing the damn things.
After that, I grabbed a shower and then headed for Danielle's. We took an awesome nap. Then we had supper and watched some Pimp My Ride. YES! Then Danielle and I went into her room to listen to "Is This It?" and it was fun. I think that record rules. NYC Cops is awesome. There was some donair, and then we headed home. About 10 minutes later, I had to call Danielle about giving Sean a boost. She ended up coming out and saving Sean's ass. It was funny, cause I almost zapped myself the first time. Ooops, I forgot about the electricity thing. Haha.
I then hung out with Sean, Omar, and Mike. We drove around a bit, then there was a little shimmy and lots of music. Mike Brought his iPod around, so we had the thing playing on the radio. The real radio was a little fucked on the way back into town though. Maybe more than a little fucked... It was lots of fun. I took a few pics, so check em out, they're funny. This is all that Sean and Omar were pretty much wearing all night.

Ok, I'm tired of writing. I can't wait for tomorrow though. I'm running, then hanging out with Danielle all afternoon/evening. I'm going to record (or try to anyway) some acoustic stuff that I've been doing. It should be fun, as long as I actually get something off the ground. We'll see.
GFY,
Tony I

PICTURE POST!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Well! It's been a couple of weeks since I've put anything up on here. Danielle got back a while ago, and that was super good. School has been kinda busy, and the rape has only been piling on more and more. What fun. It's almost over though, and I can soon get working for $$, cause I REALLY need some. I'm not liking this no money game at all. Oh I forgot... If you haven't seen already, Danielle got me a Pimp My Ride T-shirt while she was in TO. It's fuckin' AWESOME! I don't have any pics right now, but I'll put some up. She also got me The Rutabega/Owen split EP, which was boner-tastic. I love Owen.

What else is new? Well, I started running on Monday. Me. Running. I know, it's weird, but I think I should try and get my ass into shape. I skipped today cause I was in church all day, but I'm going for longer tomorrow to make up for it. I know that's not how it works, but hey, I'm doing this my way. I'm going on the South Beach diet on the Monday following Easter. Laugh now, but you'll all see when I'm not so big anymore. I'll still be taller than most of you, and I'll probably be a bit stronger, but that's all. I'm not planning on getting huge.

So, guess what I did on Wednesday? If you said "You went to The Weakerthans show with Danielle and had the best time ever", you'd be pretty close. I did that, but you forgot the part where I had a really good nap. It was with Danielle. Mmmm. Naps. But, back to the show. IT FUCKING ROCKED!!! The Burdocks, The Constantines, and The Weakerthans played. The Burdocks were pretty good, Sean is a kick ass drummer. The Constanties were alright, I liked the stuff that they said hadn't been recorded yet. It sounded better than the other stuff. But the best band of the night was obviously The Weakerthans. They played a kick-ass set, which had everyone singing and left many jaw a-gasp. They sounded PERFECT, even without their original bassist. They rocked the place really well. I was in the front for the whole show, so I got some pretty awesome pics and I happened to grab a SET-LIST. Now you can see what kind of set they played and imagine how awesome it was. Well, at least for the songs that have been recorded. They played two new ones, which made me salivate. Here are the pics from the whole night...

As you can see, I was pretty close. After the show, Danielle and I hung out at Tim Horton's, and we ran into Sean, Omar, and Chuck. It was a killer night indeed.

Yesterday, I went for a job interview at this sketchy company. I got pretty weirded out by the whole thing so I kinda just told them not to contact me. I then headed to CDPlus on Barrington to pick up my ticket for the Weakerthans show that evening, only to find it had been sold. How shitty is that? REALLY shitty. I then went to school to do an assignment. I sat next to Dave Rideout in the computer lab, and we basically sent each other IM's while we were working. It was funny as hell. After I finished, Danielle picked me up from school. That was really nice of her. We took another really good nap, then headed to her house for supper. Then it was time for church. We sat with Paul and Ross, so it was a good time. My mom showed up too. And my sister. After church, Danielle went to the Chickenburger to have some food and take over the jukebox. It was fun. Then, it was off to blockbastard to rent Donnie Darko and then straight to Danielle's for the night. Mmm. Fun fun.

Today was Church galore! Danielle woke up at 1-ish, and then headed to mass after we got ready. It was really long and somber. Also, Paul and Ross sat right in front of us. There was a million people there too. Well, at least 400. Then, after dinner, Danielle and I headed back to help with the lighting for the passion play. Danielle didn't really want to do it, and even more didn't want to do it alone, so I went to help her out and keep her company. A game-boy and tetris was also present to help the time pass. It was a good time. After the play, we were in the church hall. I found a piano, and started giving my piano rendition (transposed to the key of C) of "Ziggy Stardust" by David Bowie. It was fun. Then, Danielle and I came back to my house where I complained about myself for a long time. I'm sorry about that, I was just stressed out.

I've found during my reflection of the last few days that Easter is kind of a weird time for me. I mean, it's really a somber religious celebration that takes four days. It's a lot of church time (if you choose to go), but I think for myself, it's kind of necessary if you believe in the whole Jesus shabang. I'm already feeling Churched out, so I'm not going to go for a few weeks after this, cause I don't want to have an over-load.

Well, I guess that's it. This was supposed to be quick, but as usual, I talked forever. Have a good night, and a happy Easter everyone. I shotgun everyone's peanut-butter Easter candy. HA!
GFY,
Tony I

Quote of the day : "I love when you get hard with pants on and you feel it crawling down your leg..." - Dave R. I shit myself laughing in the computer lab when he sent me this IM. It was ridiculous.

Song of the day : "The One With The Wurlitzer" - American Football

Pic of the day : "Heyyy! Look at my GLASSES!!!"
