I got payed today!!! WOO HOO!! Before I tell THAT story, I'm going to talk about Tuesday. It was my day off. Well... sorta. I kinda felt like not going to work on Tuesday, so I called in sick. It was a good day because I got to sleep. I also went to the mall and scoped out the cost of a game cube. CLEAN! It payed off well, because I came out of it well rested. YAH! I guess that was kinda pointless.

Since that's taken care of... Today was sweet! I got payed (I already said it, I know.) and I bought some stuff. What kind of stuff do you ask? Well, I can tell you... but as usual, pictures speak louder than words.

First off I bought a new skin for my 12" tom. I'll show you what the old one looked like first...

Like I said, the pictures speak volumes more... The damn skin was over 2 years old, and it finally gave out on me yesterday while I was practicing. Oh well, it was put to good use. Now, you can see my tom with the new skin on it...

It looks so fresh. It took FOREVER to tune it to the right pitch. I ended up tuning my low tom too, so now it sounds good again! Hurray!

RANDOM PICTURE OF MY DRUMSET!

While I was at musicstop, I also decided to purchase a pair of drumsticks and a 'G' Bass String. You can see them in the following picture!(the box for the skin is in the back)

After I toodled around a bit in musicstop, I made a trip down to Bedford place to see Danielle and pick up a couple CD's. It was a good time. I managed to pick up Depeche Mode's "The Singles 81>85" and The Flaming Lips's "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots". I've already listened to both CD's before, but it's awesome to have them on hand to listen to whenever I want. I just finished listening to the DM, and it sounds just as good as I thought it would. That would denote that I'm currently listening to The Flaming Lips album right now. It's pretty good so far, and I'm only through the beginning of the second song. AWESOME. Here's some proof that I actually bought the albums...

COOL!

Speaking of albums, I LOVE the new modest mouse album. It's really good. At least, that's what I think. Some of the tracks just blow me away. I like "The Ocean Breathes Salty", "Bury Me With It", "Float On", "The World At Large", and "The View" the most. It's hard for me to pick a favorite song off the album yet, but as you can see I'm narrowing down my options. I also really like the artwork on the album. It's pretty cool. Check it out...

Before I go, here are 2 random pictures of my workplace...

I guess I'm done. I thought I could only make good posts after a weekend. I'm surprised. Tomorrow, I'm hanging out with Danielle, and then on Saturday... downtown.

'Why?', you ask? Well, if Chris hasn't told you already, his old roommate John is coming down for some reason, and he's wants to go downtown with us. CRAZY! So I plan on being very jimmied at the least... On Sunday, I'm going to a HUGE family BBQ at my Nanny's place. It's going to be NUTS! Everyone on my dad's side of the family is going to be there, including some uncles I haven't seen since I was like... 11 or 12. Crazy. It'll be a good time. I think that will conclude my rather large close-to-end-of-the-week post. (Some might say an 'uber-sized post')As usual...
GFY,
Tony I

Well, how's it going? Do I care? Maybe I do? Who knows.... Yes, I care. I know... It has been a few days (try 7) since I last made the effort to update this little webpage. Not much has really happened since the last update... well, except for the weekend...

I guess I can rant about work a little bit here. Lemme see... Graham and I have been officially separated from each other. Ha. Well, they moved him to the Screen Department and gave him different hours. It's kinda crappy because I was used to chillin and making jokes all day long, and now it doesn't happen. Oh well. I still have a good pic. Oh boy, do I ever have a good pic. HA. Other than that, I spent all week rebuilding my wrists because I've been printing manually, but I won't bore you with the details too much. Just ask me about it if you really want to know. I'm so lazy...

On Friday night, I went drinking with Rachel from work and a few of her friends. It was an ok time, but nothing too stellar. I'll probably chill with her and her peeps again sometime. I was too drunk to take any pictures though. I was so wasted on the bus home... I passed out with my MD player and phone in my hands and woke with a jolt everytime Bobby called me wasted off of his ass, or when Paul called. It was pretty funny. I'm sure I looked like a bag of hammers on the bus. Oh well. I enjoyed that much of it... haha.

Saturday was fun fun fun. I got a little wammed with the guys (minus chuck) at Eagles Rock. It was pretty fun. I busted out my camera, as you can see, and took some scenery shots and some pics of everyone that was there. You will now see these photos...

That takes care of those.....

Today (Sunday) consisted of me playing warcraft for a bit. Then I went on another random Sunday adventure through Bedford/bayers lake. We visited McHomoface, hassled my brother at his workplace, hassled the white-chocolate kids at my brothers workplace, and then searched around Value Village. It was quite a good time...
OK my computer almost crashed about 2 seconds ago. I barely squeezed this out as a draft. I almost lost all of my hard work.... ANYWAY...
I then came home for supper and then I cleaned my room (CLEAN!) and played Warcraft some more. At around 8, I went to see Garfield with Danielle. It was fun, but the movie was sub-par at best. I mean, Bill Murray WAS the voice of Garfield, but there was not enough of the comic book incorporated into the movie. I'd write more, but I don't want to spoil it for people. I just hope they don't decide to make a "Calvin and Hobbes" movie. I'd kill my self if Bill Watterson ever sunk to that level... We ran into the rest of the Mackoids while at the theatre, which was cool, especially since I haven't really seen Chuck in like a week, but that's how it is with the workin and what not...

So to wrap things up, it was a pretty good weekend. As usual, I bet next week/weekend will have more adventures to talk about. Maybe I'll post more than just once... or maybe not.
GFY,
Tony I

Quote of the day : "If it wasn't my house, I would have left too... I was too fucked to be at my own house." - Chris Hattie talking about roof party 1. It was a pretty good quote. I lost it.

Song of the day : "Ocean Breathes Salty" - Modest Mouse. This song is really really really good. It's off of their new album. Go buy it.

Props : EB for selling me the battle chest.

I told you I had a good one...

Wow. What a weekend. I had so much fun it hurt. Not really hurt, but it was awesome...
It all started on Friday, after I got home from work. I'd been playing with my camera all day, so I figured I should take some pics of my dog. Well, my step-dad's dog and my dog. I'll post some of those right now...

After I cut the lawn, Swan picked me up. We discovered that the LC was closed by Sobey's and headed out to Bedford Place in hopes of finding jimmy. No luck. BUT Chuck did buy a box-set, which he was pretty stoked about. He spent most of the drive to the LC in Clayton Park reading the "booklet", which is better described as a novel... It's sad that it would take a regular person a week to get through all of that stuff, but Chuck either has it listened to and read already, or he'll be done tonight. HA.

Then we got to Harris's. Chuck, Steve, and I had a huge jam, which was awesome as hell. I got to play the drums, which I don't often do in a jam. It was fun. AND I have pictures...

Then there was some shim and some sham and a little more jamming. It got to the post where Harris was playing the drums without a stool and with only one stick. IT WAS FUCKING OUTRAGEOUS.

Omar played some guitar too, but I didn't snap any photos of him with the guitar cause I was playing the drums, but I got this one...

It was a good night. Bobby and Jess stopped by, which was clean for two reasons. One being the fact that I hadn't seen either of them in a few days; and the second being that Chris drove me home. (Thanks a billion and one.)

Saturday was a good time. I woke up and cleaned up a bit, and then I went to Shrek 2 with Danielle. It was pretty good, but it was no first Shrek at all. Then I headed over to Chris's for Roof Party Round 2. Instead of writing about what happened on the roof, I'll simply post the photos...

It was much like last week, especially with all the yelling at cars and the massive amounts of drinking in a very unsafe area. Things migrated downstairs, where there was hockey, Chris and Harris dancing, passing out, drinking, and much more outrageous stuff... And you know what???? I've got more pictures.

I think that concludes my post, seeing how I've been uploading and resizing pictures ALL morning. I don't know what the deal is for tonight, but I'm sure something is going to be going down.
GFY,
Tony I
